Downloaded Avast and it worked fine till today when a notice came up for new updates, would I like to update now? So I clicked Yes and everything went normal and at end said I had to reboot (Shut Down) so I clicked OK...Computer came back on and would show only black screen and did not have any control eg icon. Shut down comp and opened up in safe mode did restore,still no go, deleted Avast from system and all was well.Tried down loading again and had no success in safe mode,would not allow.Went and tried to download Avast in normal operation and half way through warning came up not compatable.My question is would I/N explorer security cause this problem? I tried Norton and same thing ..not compatable...I hope I'm making my problem clear..Thanks.Steve2

I download and install Avast 7 run Fix it shows licence to ZeNiX 13759 day remaining , but when computer restate it goes back to trial days remaining. how to fix so the fix stays

I was thinking about dowloading this but maybe I'll just wait for a bit to see how it works out
