    Default SONicview sv 4000

    So as of now what works with the sonicview just to be clear the newlink or the sv lan? and do you just buy and use or do you need like a sv 360 premier and up to downgrade it then use it?

    you need ihub/newlink/svlan/whizhub

    all the same device....but you need one for IKS

    To use the SV4000 you will need an adapter like an iHub or SVLan . Yes you can just buy one & use it on the SV4000 but the problem is they are almost impossible to find anywhere right now. The other thing is , if you do find one for sale somewhere it will probably be very expensive to buy. People are asking crazy prices now that they are so rare. You can probably get yourself a new receiver like the Jynxbox HD or the Dreamlink HD for about the same price as a SVlan . Good luck & happy testing.

    yeah ihubs are crazy expensive now....better off to get a new receiver

    check out the Dreamlink HD......much better than that sv4000

    yah i was going to buy it but im to find a really old/cheap working one for my uncle like i myself havee the ilink, but i heard that some of the old recievers still work, so if you dont mind do you know and old/chep reciverrs that i could buy and it would be iks compatible

    almost all of them are iks compatible.....

    for ease of use I recommend trying to find one with a built-in ethernet port

    check ebay or kijiji and let us know what you come up with, we'll tell you if it is easy to set up or not

    the cheapest new ones I can find are around $100

    if you are going to spend $100 I would recommend the Dreamlink SD version.....they arent much more than that
